About Jay Bristow

Jay Bristow minJay Bristow has been running a Forest School business for four years and currently works in a number of state and independent schools in Surrey. Previously, he was a youth worker, supporting disadvantaged young people.

Passionate about Forest Schools and the principles behind it, Jay has put together a tailor-made programme to showcase the advantages of utilising the outdoor learning environment - even with limited outdoor space.

The session will provide ‘hands on’ training, giving participants direct experience about what goes on in a typical Forest School session, covering:

  • Practical outdoor activities (dress appropriately)
  • Curriculum links
  • Benefits of FS
  • Health and Safety
